About me
Principal software engineer with 12 years in production, remote with US companies since 2021. I build AI agents and MCP servers, plus the backends around them: FastAPI, Node.js, React, single sign-on and Stripe billing on AWS, GCP, Azure or Cloudflare. Recent work includes the MCP endpoint for Companion Hub, an AI matchmaking agent on ElizaOS and Napster's single sign-on for Napster AI, Napster Music and Napster Spaces. From 2021 to 2024 I was an engineering manager on the open-source Ethereal Engine. I started at Bentley Systems in 2014.

Self-hosted AI platform with two parts: Companion Hub (a local runtime for apps, models and agents) and CI-Portal (its cloud control plane). - Built the Hub's MCP endpoint (Streamable HTTP transport, multi-key API store, per-key read/write/full scopes) and much of its Windows support on WSL2, including GPU access for local models. - Packaged Hermes Agent and OpenClaw as one-click marketplace apps wired to Companion Memory, with a native Ollama adapter for Hermes. - Built the consent flow that connects agent apps to Companion Memory through scoped API keys. - On CI-Portal (Cloudflare Workers, D1, Hono, Drizzle, React) built custom domains on Entri and Cloudflare for SaaS, plus Stripe subscriptions with per-unit add-ons.

Worked across Eliza Cloud, Eliza App, ElizaOS and Soulmates. - Built Ori, the AI matchmaking agent for Soulmates, on ElizaOS over the WhatsApp Cloud API. A separate service scores matches with an LLM while an event pipeline proposes meetings and sends notifications. - Built Eliza Cloud's Discord gateway service, deployed on AWS with Terraform, Helm and GitHub Actions. - Built Eliza App's account linking (Discord OAuth, phone numbers, WhatsApp) and published the Soulmates WhatsApp plugin to npm.

Joined through Infinite Reality's acquisition of Ethereal Engine. - Built the transcript analysis pipeline for Napster's AI shopping agent: FastAPI and Celery services that translate, classify and score conversations with Cloud Translation, Gemini on Vertex AI and open NLP models. Ran it on Compute Engine GPUs under Cloud Composer (Airflow), with results in BigQuery. - Built Napster's identity platform on GKE: one sign-in for Napster AI, Napster Music and Napster Spaces with Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook and GitHub. Wrote a custom authenticator and password-hash provider so migrated Napster Spaces users kept their passwords. - Led the multi-tenancy rework of the iR Engine core, so one AWS deployment could host many customers' 3D worlds and stores. Built custom domains, Stripe billing and user management for iR Studio.

Very knowledge and very thorough work given for our project. The team spent a few days to get our first Azure pipeline and release done, and spent an hour on video call to explain what they did.
