What do I need to get started?
Source web hosting login details, destination web hosting login details, domain panel access (or you change the nameservers when I ask), WordPress admin login credentials
Will there be a damage to my website?
No, your website will stay the same as it was on source hosting. Little to no downtime is expected. I will test the website before pointing it to the new server/hosting panel.
When will I change the nameservers?
I will ask you to change the nameservers or A record (if we ONLY need to point the website to the new hosting so the domain emails don't get affected) when the testing is successfully completed.
Can you transfer the domain/website without losing email?
Sure. In this case, we will need to update the A records and not the nameservers.
Can I work on the website while you are migrating the website?
No, please STOP all the work on the website for at least 12 hours as the domain/A records may take several hours to propagate.
What hosting do you support for migration?
Any as long as it supports WordPress. Ideally, one with cpanel is a plus but not necessary.
Anyhting else I need to know?
It's recommended you change all the passwords temporarily to harsh1994 while I work on the website migration. Once the work is done, you can change them back.
