What electromagnetic studies can you perform?
I can model electrostatics, electric currents, AC/DC magnetic fields, Joule heating, electrothermal coupling, piezoelectric devices, capacitive devices, sensors, actuators and MEMS systems.
What information do you need before starting?
I need the device geometry or dimensions, material properties, applied voltage or current, frequency where applicable, boundary conditions, operating environment and the results you want to obtain.
Do you provide the COMSOL model file?
Yes. The editable COMSOL MPH file is included when stated in the selected package or custom offer. Please tell me your COMSOL version before the project begins.
Can you create the geometry?
I can create simple 2D or 3D geometry from dimensions, sketches or reference drawings. Complex geometry should preferably be supplied as STEP, IGES, Parasolid, DXF or STL.
How do you check the model quality?
I review the physics setup, boundary conditions, units, material properties, solver behavior and mesh sensitivity when included in the project scope. Simulation results still depend on the accuracy of the information supplied by the client.
