Formatting for Smashwords can be a challenge.

They require just a Word document, easy, right? But the truth is, if you don't carefully follow their specific formatting guidelines, your book will not convert properly in Smashwords' Meatgrinder software. 

At best, you'll find that it doesn't look quite right, at worst, you'll see a lot of unintelligible errors which will prevent your title from being accepted for distribution to Smashwords' channel partners.

Please note Smashwords has some limitations; their conversion technology requires very simple formatting. This means I cannot include any of the following in your ebook: custom fonts, tables, drop caps, mixing and matching a lot of different paragraph styles and text boxes.
