I founded Kitovu to fix how smallholder farmers in Nigeria access inputs, storage, finance, and markets. As Founder & CEO, I set the overall strategy and lead product, partnerships, fundraising, and a team of 27. Key achievements: - Grew Kitovu to serve 25,000+ farmers across 9 Nigerian states and facilitate 30,000+ metric tons of commodities - Drove 7x revenue growth in the last financial year - Built five integrated business lines: eProcure (produce procurement), Agristore (farm inputs), StorageX (storage and warehouse receipt financing), YieldMax (data-driven farm advisory) and Webuy (buy-now-pay-later groceries) - Raised non-dilutive funding from USAID, Acumen, Lightsmith Group and the Royal Academy of Engineering - Delivered a state government farmer database program covering farmer enumeration and input distribution - Secured long-term offtake relationships with major agro-processors - Built a rural network that includes 237 women field partners - Won the World Bank's 2017 Ideas for Action competition (1st of 743 teams from 118 countries) with the concept behind Kitovu I've taken products from idea to revenue, designed business models in difficult markets, and raised funding from global institutions.
