FAQ
Can you migrate my entire WordPress blog to Ghost?
Yes. I can migrate posts, pages, images, tags and other supported content. The exact scope depends on your WordPress export and the package you choose.
Will my old WordPress URLs still work after migration?
I can set up appropriate redirects for changed URLs. Ghost supports 301 and 302 redirects, which can help visitors and search engines reach the corresponding new URLs.
Can you migrate my images along with my posts?
Yes. Where the source export and content structure support it, I can migrate your images together with the relevant posts/pages and check the imported content.
Can you migrate my subscribers or members to Ghost?
Yes, if you provide an appropriate subscriber/member export. Ghost supports CSV member imports, including email, name, newsletter subscription status and other supported fields.
Can you set up my Ghost newsletter after migration?
Yes. The Premium package includes Ghost newsletter setup. I can configure the newsletter structure and help prepare your publication for sending content to subscribers.
What if I have hundreds or thousands of posts?
That's fine. Large migrations should be reviewed before ordering because the amount of content, images, URL changes and custom requirements can affect the migration process. Message me with your WordPress URL and approximate content volume for a custom quote.
Can you migrate my WordPress site and customize the Ghost design too?
Yes. Standard and Premium include theme installation and setup, while Premium includes basic theme customization. More advanced custom theme development can be quoted separately.
