About me
Hi, I’m Clara, a creative writer, Book editor, and Beta reader with 10 years experience, I offer thoughtful, text-focused feedback that looks at how a manuscript reads from the reader’s side, what holds attention, what feels unclear, which moments stand out, and where the writing needs more attention. I also focus on structure, flow, clarity, and the details that can make a book feel complete. From fiction and nonfiction to children’s books, my goal is to help shape clear writing, strong storytelling, and a polished final book.
I also do Book formatting and children book illustration.

Clara beta-read my 94,500-word espionage thriller and returned it in half the time she promised, with none of the corner-cutting that speed usually implies. Rather the opposite. Her praise was specific enough to trust and her criticism specific enough to use. She told me exactly where her attention dipped...

I was referred to this seller by another seller on Fiverr. When I contacted this seller it took quite a bit of convincing from them for me to work with them. From their seller page I got the idea that they don't usually take on projects like mine. I don't think to many people are making what I am...

She did exactly what she was asked — five sittings, worked the daily exercises, no copy editing — and every finding was located to a week and a sentence. She caught a real omission, gave you a rule instead of a list of notes, and named what to protect.

Clara has read for me across several books now. She names the mechanism, not just the symptom — not only that her attention slipped, but that a reflection had stepped out of the room to explain what the scene already showed. And she is more apt to tell me where I moved off something too soon than to tell me what to cut.

I was beyond impressed with Clara. She went so depth chapter by chapter that it genuinely seemed like she cared about my manuscript. She gave me lots of great honest feedback that I’m going to use for my next revision. Super timely and responsive. Would definitely recommend this beta reader
