References are inspiration only. I don't copy branded plaids or registered tartans, but I can create an original design inspired by them.
Where two colors cross they blend, like woven fabric, so you will see extra in-between tones.

I’m an independent textile and surface pattern designer specializing in original tartan, plaid, seamless and repeat patterns. I create custom designs for fashion, fabric, home décor and commercial applications, working from references, ideas, color palettes or specific pattern requirements.

FAQ
What does the revision cover?
One revision is included for adjustments to the same concept: colors, line width, spacing or proportions. It does not cover a new structure, new references, or extra colors. A detailed brief up front is the best protection for your revision.
What counts as a new concept (not a revision)?
Changing the structure (e.g. check to tartan), adding a 4th color, swapping in new references, or changing the brief after delivery. These need a new order or my custom gig.
What do I need to provide before you start?
Complete the requirement form: structure, up to 3 HEX codes (or "take colors from my reference"), 1-3 reference images, what to take from each, and line thickness and spacing. I ask once if something is missing and start once the brief is complete.
Can you copy a branded plaid or a registered tartan?
No. References are inspiration only (color, scale, style). I don't copy branded plaids or registered tartans, but I can create an original design inspired by them. An exact copy can't be fulfilled.
Why do I see more tones than the colors I chose?
Where two colors cross they blend like woven fabric; a 2-color gingham shows 3 tones. This is the pattern's natural look, not a color error. Colors are delivered as sRGB HEX values; screens and printers vary.
Do the mockups in the gallery come with my order?
No. Mockups and previews are illustrations only. You receive the flat seamless pattern files listed in the package. Mockups are not included.
What is outside the scope of this gig?
More than 3 colors, complex or custom structures, very fine micro-checks, logos, text, motifs, hand-drawn looks, fabric textures, or tracing a photo. Please see my custom gig for these.
What files do I receive?
PNG and JPG, seamless, 12 x 12 in at 300 DPI (3600 x 3600 px). Source files (SVG/EPS/AI) and a small commercial license are available as add-ons. For broader rights, message me before ordering.
Where do we communicate and receive files?
All communication, deliveries and payments stay on Fiverr. I can't take requests, send files or accept payments outside the platform.

Yes, pre-order messages are welcome, and they help confirm your structure and colors. You can also order directly and complete the requirement form.
