In this project, two Nema17 stepper motors, an Arduino Nano, and an A4988 stepper motor driver were used to build a parallel SCARA robot. The application software communicates with the Arduino via the USB port and makes the robot perform tasks using G-code. The Arduino performs geometric calculations and drives the motors to reach positions in the Cartesian coordinate system.
