FAQ
Do you provide the hardware or devices?
No. You provide the hardware (Raspberry Pi, mini PC, NAS or VPS) and your smart devices. I don't sell hosting or devices, but I'm happy to advise on what to buy before you order.
How do you access my system?
Remotely, through a method you control, such as a temporary SSH account, Tailscale, or a screen-share session. You can revoke access as soon as the job is done.
Which installation types do you support?
Home Assistant OS, Container (Docker) and Supervised on Linux. If you're unsure which one you have or need, I'll recommend one based on your hardware.
What counts as one automation?
One trigger-based routine, for example "turn on hallway lights at sunset when someone is home". Bigger multi-step flows may count as more than one. I'll confirm this with you before starting.
Will my automations break after updates?
Standard and Premium include automatic backups, so you can roll back. I use maintained integrations and avoid fragile hacks wherever possible.
