I will write original song lyrics for rock, metal and alternative

About this gig
I will write original, complete song lyrics from your clear creative brief. I focus on alternative rock, indie rock, metal, alternative metal, metal-rap, dark alternative, and closely related styles.
You provide the concept, point of view, emotional direction, important details, and style. I develop the lyrics around your intended message while respecting required lines, creative boundaries, and package scope.
Standard and Premium include deliberate cadence and rhythmic phrasing for rhythm-heavy sections. This Gig is for lyrics only; melody writing, topline writing, vocals, and music production are not included.
I use an AI-assisted collaborative process alongside my own creative direction, writing, editing, rewriting, selection, and final review.
Rights: Basic allows commercial use with a 15% retained songwriting/composition share. Standard allows commercial use with a 10% retained songwriting/composition share. Premium includes a full songwriting/composition buyout with no retained share or required lyricist credit. These terms apply to the composition, not your master recording.

FAQ
What exactly will I receive?
You’ll receive original, complete song lyrics developed from your creative brief and package scope. Each order covers one primary song concept, and the finished lyric is intended to function as a complete song.
What genres do you write?
I focus on alternative rock, indie rock, metal, alternative metal, metal-rap/rap-metal, dark alternative, and closely related styles. I do not currently offer traditional rap/hip-hop, pop, or country.
Do you use AI when writing lyrics?
Yes. I use an AI-assisted collaborative process alongside my own creative direction, writing, editing, rewriting, selection, and final review. Each lyric is developed specifically around your brief.
What do I need to provide before you start?
You’ll complete a questionnaire covering your concept, point of view, emotional direction, genre/style, important details, structure, existing ideas, and anything you want avoided. You do not need songwriting terminology.
What is cadence-shaped lyric writing?
It gives extra attention to line length, syllable density, stress, rhyme, phrase breaks, and rhythmic flow. It is useful for rhythm-heavy sections such as metal-rap passages and does not include melody or topline writing.
What counts as a revision?
A revision adjusts the delivered lyric to better match your original submitted brief. Basic includes 1 revision; Standard and Premium include 2. A new concept, story, POV, genre/style direction, or major structure change is not a normal revision.
Can I add extra verses, choruses, or bridges?
Yes. Additional sections can be purchased as Gig Extras when available. Each added section also adds delivery time so the extra writing, integration, and final review are not rushed. I do not offer rush delivery.
Why are the package prices different?
Basic is $25 for the core lyric service. Standard is $40 and adds cadence-focused writing, more structural room, and a second revision. Premium is $75 and includes the higher-tier writing scope plus a full composition buyout.
Can I commercially release the song, and do you retain a share?
Yes. Basic and Standard allow commercial use while I retain an agreed songwriting/composition share: 15% on Basic and 10% on Standard. Premium has a 0% retained share and includes the full composition buyout.
Do I need to credit you as a lyricist/songwriter?
For Basic and Standard, yes. I should be credited as a contributing lyricist/songwriter because I retain an agreed composition share. Premium has no retained composition share; its credit treatment follows the Premium buyout terms.
