Hi I’m Jemma. I’m a writer and advocate for my rare disease, hyperacusis. I love writing poetry, non fiction articles, short stories and novels on a variety of different topics including: mermaids, fantasy, emotions experienced throughout human life, sci-fi, etc. I also use my writing to educate my readers about hyperacusis, sometimes directly, sometimes through a character, and other times by weaving it into poems.
