About this gig
Do you need a mobile app for kids' learning, language learning, or a weekend or after-school program? I build it in React Native and Expo, for iOS and Android from one TypeScript codebase.
The gallery shows Effortless Arabic, a concept app I designed and built. It opens on a sample family, and its logic works on the device:
- A path of short lessons for the kid, with picture questions and letters traced by finger
- A celebration after every lesson, with XP, a daily streak and rewards to collect
- A parent side: each child's week, a check-in for class, tuition with receipts, and messages
- A teacher side: tonight's class, attendance in seconds, and notes to parents
- Right-to-left Arabic with all its vowel marks, set in Noto Naskh Arabic
- Night Garden, a design system with two stages: night lapis for kids, warm paper for grown-ups

Do you connect the app to a real backend?
Each package delivers the app with its logic and its data on the device. Accounts, a backend and sync between devices can be added as an extra at the end, once we agree on the scope.
Is the app in the gallery for sale?
No. Effortless Arabic is a concept app that shows my work. I build a new app for your program, with your brand, your lessons and your flows.
Can it take real payments or send reminders?
The Effortless Arabic checkout records each payment with its receipt, but no money moves, and it sends no notifications. Real payments and push notifications depend on the providers you choose, so we scope them together first.
Can it teach another language?
Yes. The lessons, words and pictures are data, so another language is mostly new content. Right-to-left scripts like Arabic are already set properly, with every vowel mark.
Which platforms do you build for?
