About this Gig
Need a multilayer PCB design, a high speed PCB layout or a reverse engineered board? I design schematics and 2 to 8 layer PCB layouts ready for JLCPCB, PCBWay or your own factory.
What I do
- Schematic capture and PCB layout in KiCad, Altium Designer or EasyEDA
- 2, 4 and 6 layer stack-ups with power planes, decoupling and clean high speed routing
- PCB reverse engineering: rebuild the schematic and an editable layout from your board
- Design review of your existing schematic or PCB
- Gerber, drill, BOM, pick-and-place, STEP 3D model and assembly notes
Boards I have designed: an STM32F405 flight controller reverse engineered and redesigned from a commercial board, an ESP32-S3 data acquisition board with GNSS, IMU, RFID and SD logging, a 4-layer 100 A power board and stacked CanSat electronics.

FAQ
Q1. What do you need to start?
A schematic in any format, a hand sketch, a working breadboard with a part list, or the board you want reverse engineered or just a Requirement. Also size limits, connector positions and your factory.
Q2. Which files will I receive?
Native source files (KiCad, Altium or EasyEDA), schematic PDF, Gerber and drill files, BOM, pick-and-place, STEP 3D model and assembly notes.
Q3. How does reverse engineering work?
You send clear photos of both sides, a sample board or Gerbers. I trace the circuit, rebuild the schematic and produce a new editable layout. Only for boards you have the right to copy or modify.
Q4. Do you fabricate or assemble boards?
No. This is a design service. I prepare the files and can guide your JLCPCB or PCBWay order; you pay the manufacturer directly.
Q5. Can you design drone flight controllers or ESCs?
Yes, in my separate drone electronics gig, which covers flight controllers, ESCs, power distribution and LED boards.
Q6. Will the board work the first time?
I follow datasheet reference designs and run DRC plus a design review, but first prototypes can need small fixes. Package revisions cover layout corrections.
