Which dbt versions and warehouses do you support?
The exact dbt Core or dbt Cloud version and adapter must be reviewed first. Common targets include Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, and PostgreSQL.
Can you work in an existing dbt project?
Yes. The Gig is designed for existing projects. I will follow the repository's style, naming, and branch workflow where documented.
Do you write business-specific tests?
Yes. Standard and Premium include bounded custom tests when the buyer provides the rule, expected behavior, and representative safe data.
Can you add source freshness checks?
Yes. The buyer must define the expected update cadence, acceptable warning threshold, and failure threshold for each included source.
Is fixing every failing record included?
No. The Gig implements tests and can repair agreed dbt logic. Correcting upstream source systems or manually cleaning unlimited records is separate work.
Can you add dbt tests to CI?
Premium includes one agreed CI quality gate when repository access, credentials strategy, and runner details are available.
Do you need production warehouse access?
Prefer a development target with restricted credentials and safe sample data. Access should follow least privilege.
What is a revision?
A revision corrects the agreed tests or documentation. New models, new rules, a second warehouse, or a different CI platform are additional scope.
