Why GeneratePress rather than a theme built entirely from scratch?
Because you get a maintained, security-patched, accessible foundation for free, and I spend the budget on what actually makes your site different. A from-scratch theme costs more and ages faster. If you specifically need one, message me.
Where do custom post types live — in the theme?
In a small companion plugin, not in the theme. That way your content survives any future theme change. Registering them inside the theme is a common shortcut that traps your data the day you switch.
Do I need a GeneratePress Premium licence?
No. I build with the free version and write the templates and hooks myself, so there's nothing extra to buy and your theme doesn't depend on a paid add-on. If you already own GP Premium, I'll use it — but the theme works without it.
Can you rebuild my existing site without losing content or SEO?
Yes. Content, URLs and metadata stay untouched — only the presentation layer changes. I work on a staging copy first, so your live site keeps running until the new theme is approved.
I don't have a design — can you still build it?
Yes, most projects start without one. Send me a reference site you like, your brand colours and fonts, and a short list of what each page must show. I turn that into a working layout you can review before the build is finished.
