FAQ
Why does my email show "via" or "on behalf of" in the recipient's inbox?
That warning appears when your message's DKIM signature doesn't align with your sending domain — typically because DKIM isn't set up for your domain, or a third-party sender (a website form, CRM, or hosting server) is signing with its own domain instead.
How does the fix differ between Google Workspace, cPanel, Rackspace, and Zimbra?
The principles are the same, but where the records come from differs. Google Workspace generates DKIM keys in the Admin Console. cPanel/WHM has an Email Deliverability tool that generates and can auto-install records if you host DNS there.
My cPanel says "problems detected" in Email Deliverability — is that what you fix?
Yes, that's one of the most common cases. Usually it's a missing or mismatched SPF/DKIM record, or DNS being hosted elsewhere so cPanel's suggested records were never actually published. I resolve the specific flagged issue and verify the records are live.
Do I need server access, or just DNS access?
For Google Workspace and Rackspace, admin console plus DNS access is enough. For cPanel, I need cPanel login (or WHM). For self-hosted Zimbra, DKIM key generation requires server/SSH access — if that's not comfortable to share, I can guide your sysadmin through the exact commands instead.
Will fixing authentication guarantee my emails stop going to spam?
It removes the most common cause, but not every cause. If your domain or IP is blacklisted, your content triggers filters, or your list quality is poor, authentication alone won't fully fix it. I check blacklists and flag other issues honestly rather than promising authentication
What do you need from me to start — and how fast can this be fixed?
Your domain, DNS management access, admin access to your mail platform, and a sample of a recent failing email's headers if you have one.
