Fiction: Extraordinary ideas may be woven throughout your book, but are they hidden beneath confusing plot-lines or within flat characters? Do your narrative choices make reading irresistible or do they fail to grip your reader's attention? A developmental revision will help you hone your story structure, character development, dialogue, exposition, narrative pacing, tone, and point of view for a more engaging and satisfying novel.
Nonfiction: If your work is a piece of nonfiction, we'll have a look at how well your book managing to achieve your goals. Does it connect with the reader? Is it accessible? Digestible? Does your reader trust you and want to keep reading?
Deliverables include a report-like letter covering the high-level recommendations and developmental concerns in your novel and line-by-line feedback on specific opportunities for development in your manuscript. See the gig gallery for samples of previous work.
NOTE: Projects are not accepted blindly, so please do reach out to discuss your book. Once we have agreed on project scope, pricing, and delivery, I will gratefully welcome your order!
