As a Senior 2D Artist and Book Cover Illustrator at Creative Ink Studio, I specialized in creating visually compelling and market-driven designs for authors, publishers, and independent content creators. My role focused on developing high-quality book cover design, ebook cover, kindle cover, and KDP cover design tailored to different genres including horror, fantasy, romance, thriller, science fiction, and mystery publications. I collaborated closely with writers and publishing teams to transform story concepts into engaging visual artwork that aligns with brand identity and reader expectations. I was responsible for designing paperback cover layouts, audiobook cover art, and promotional comic poster visuals. Additionally, I worked on graphic novel illustrations, comic book covers, comic pages, comic strips, and full comic illustration projects. During my time at the company, I handled multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict deadlines and quality standards. I conducted research on market trends, audience preferences, and publishing platform requirements, especially for Amazon Kindle and KDP publishing. I also created vintage poster designs, retro vintage illustration styles, creepy horror poster concepts, and dark art themed cover art that enhanced storytelling and commercial appeal. I worked extensively with Adobe Illustrator and advanced AI assisted illustration tools to improve design efficiency and creative output. My role also involved client consultation, concept sketch development, revision implementation, and final production preparation for both print and digital distribution. Through consistent creative strategy and strong communication skills, I successfully delivered projects that improved client book visibility, strengthened branding, and increased reader engagement across multiple publishing platforms.
