About this gig
I fix WordPress and WooCommerce errors, theme bugs and layout issues, and safely move your store to a supported PHP version.
Why PHP matters: updating WordPress doesn't update PHP. Many stores still run PHP 8.1 or older, which no longer gets security fixes, and PHP 8.2 support ends 31 Dec 2026.
How I work (live store untouched until you approve):
- Full backup with a tested restore
- Fix or upgrade on a staging copy and read the error log
- Upgrade to PHP 8.3 or 8.4 (Standard/Premium)
- Test cart, checkout (gateway test mode), coupons, order emails and logins
- Fix or replace what breaks, then switch live at an hour you choose
- Re-check the live store and send a plain-English report

Access: add me as a WordPress user and through your host's team feature. Never send passwords in chat.
No one can honestly promise a site can't be hacked. I promise this: if my change breaks something, I roll it back at no cost.
I use AI-assisted tools; I review and test every change myself before delivery.

FAQ
Will my store go down?
Nothing changes on the live store until you approve the staging results. The live switch happens at an hour you choose.
My host has no staging. Can you still do it?
Yes. I create a private staging copy with a staging plugin or a subfolder/subdomain on your host, then remove it after delivery.
Which PHP version will you move me to?
PHP 8.3 or 8.4, whichever your host offers and your plugins support. If a plugin can't run on it, I tell you before switching and suggest a replacement.
Can you guarantee my site can't be hacked?
No one honestly can. A supported PHP version closes known holes; I don't make security guarantees.
Already on PHP 8.2 or newer?
Order Basic: I confirm which PHP build is really serving your store and flag the 8.2 end-of-life date if it applies.
Is the gallery client work?
No. It's our own demo store (WP 7.1.4, WooCommerce 11.2.1, 17 plugins), labelled as a demo.
Do you use AI?
I use AI-assisted tools to read logs and draft code. I review and test every change myself before delivery and am accountable for it.
What if something breaks after delivery?
If it's caused by my change, I roll it back or fix it at no cost. Tell me within 7 days of delivery.
