Do I need to give you admin access to my production firewalls?
Not initially. For the audit phase, read-only access or sanitized config exports are sufficient. If implementation is required, we will schedule a maintenance window that works for your team, and I will walk you through every change before it is applied.
What if my firewalls are a mix of different brands?
That is my specialty. I have extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto. I know how to normalize policies across completely different syntaxes and architectures.
Will this slow down my network?
No. Consolidating policies actually improves performance because the firewall spends less CPU cycles processing rule matches. My automation scripts ensure the new policies maintain the exact same traffic flow (just without the bloat).
