About this Gig
Are you applying to college, graduate school, medical school, law school, or residency?
I've edited application essays for students applying to Stanford, Princeton, Duke, and other leading universities. Since 2020, I've completed thousands of orders as a professional editor on Fiverr.
I work on your existing personal statement, SOP, or admissions essay, making improvements appropriate to the package you choose while preserving your meaning and voice.
Choose the level that fits your draft:
PROOFREAD: Grammar, spelling, and punctuation corrections.
STRUCTURE: Proofreading + line editing + structural editing.
COMPLETE: Proofreading + line editing + structural editing + admissions feedback.
STRUCTURE and COMPLETE address clarity, wording, and organization. COMPLETE also provides admissions-focused feedback on your statement's strengths, limitations, and opportunities for development.
You will receive an edited file with Track Changes and a clean version.
My goal is to strengthen your writing without making it sound like someone else wrote it.
Not sure which package fits? Send me the word count and deadline, and I'll point you in the right direction.

FAQ
What types of applications do you work on?
I edit personal statements, SOPs, and application essays for undergraduate, Master's, MBA, law school, medical school, residency, PhD, and scholarship applications.
Will you write my personal statement, SOP, or application essay for me?
No. I edit and strengthen your existing draft while preserving your ideas and voice. I do not write application materials from scratch.
Will my application materials remain confidential?
Yes. I treat your application materials as confidential and do not share your work with third parties.
What does the included revision cover?
The included revision covers reasonable adjustments to my delivered edit based on your feedback. New content, new application prompts, or material added after delivery may require an additional order or extra.
Which package should I choose?
Choose PROOFREAD for grammar, spelling, and punctuation corrections; STRUCTURE for additional line and structural editing; or COMPLETE if you also want detailed admissions feedback.
