I provide the illustrations in PNG format at 350dpi with an sRGB color profile. Source files (PSD) can also be provided for an additional fee.
Can I ask for a sample page?
Certainly! For book projects, I typically start with a sample page to ensure the art style meets your expectations. Before that, I invite you to contact me so we can discuss your project thoroughly. Once we've had that conversation, we can proceed with a single page or a character concept.
Do you also format the book for publishing?
I can offer a PDF version of your book suitable for printing or ebook publishing, as well as a specific file formatted for KDP ebook, available for an additional charge. Kindly inform me beforehand so we can discuss your specific requirements.
Are the characters mentioned in your gig descriptions referring to the total characters in the book or in a single illustration?
The number of characters refers to those within a single illustration. The more characters there are, the more time it takes to complete the illustration.
What does illustrating a book cost?
The cost depends on the number of pages/illustrations and their complexity. It's difficult to provide an estimate without first reviewing the draft.
Can I get a quote without sharing my draft?
I can provide a rough estimate, but for an accurate quote, please share your draft or at least a description of each illustration you have in mind. Understanding your story is crucial for me to provide the best possible estimate. After all, how can I illustrate your story without reading it, right?
Is the payment upfront?
Yes, after your purchase, Fiverr will hold the payment until you approve the final delivery. Alternatively, we can split the order into 2 or 3 separate payments and proceed with portions of the project at a time.
