FAQ
What do I need to give you to start?
Your WordPress URL, your Shopify store access, and your domain provider (Wix, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.). If you don’t want to share logins, I can guide you step by step instead.
Will I lose my Google rankings after the migration?
I set up 301 redirects from your old URLs to the new ones, which protects your SEO. Rankings can shift briefly during any migration, but this keeps the risk as low as possible.
Will my website or email go down during the move?
No. I build everything on Shopify first, and only then connect your domain. I also protect your existing email (MX) records during DNS changes, so your email keeps working.
How long does it take?
Domain and DNS fixes usually take a few hours, but DNS propagation can take up to 24 to 48 hours. Migration time depends on your package, from 1 to 5 days.
What exactly do you migrate, and what’s not included?
I migrate products, collections, pages, blogs and images. Custom plugins, custom-coded features and a full redesign are not included. Message me first if you need any of them.
