Hi! I use Famitracker and do a real NES modules. You can get an *.nsf file or *.ftm (a project) Famitone 5 or 2 compatible and you can use it for your console project. Or you can get an *.mp3, *.wav and use it for your pixel project if ypu don`t care about cartridge compatible. I'm a perfectionist in my craft. And i do the more than just signals and noise. I get the most out of this format. Listen for examples on my page. So if you want a real 8 bit format, and not a pseudo 8 bit - I`am your choice for that. Music and sfx for your game.
