What do you need from me to start?
Please provide one audio or video file and tell me whether you need a new transcript or corrections to an AI-generated one. If you choose AI transcript correction, include the draft text. Names and specialized terms are helpful when available.
What is included in each package?
Basic covers up to 3 minutes and 1 speaker, with 1 revision in 2 days. Standard covers 10 minutes and up to 2 speakers, with 1 revision in 3 days. Premium covers 20 minutes, up to 2 speakers and approximate 1-minute time marks, with 2 revisions in 4 days.
Can you fix an AI-generated Chinese transcript?
Yes. Please provide both the original recording and the AI-generated transcript. I will listen and correct the text. Your package covers either a new transcript or correction of an existing one for the included audio length, not two separate transcripts.
Which languages and file formats do you support?
I work with clear Standard Mandarin and deliver Simplified Chinese. Common input formats include MP3, WAV, M4A and MP4. Final transcripts are delivered in editable DOCX and TXT files.
How do you check transcription accuracy?
I listen to the recording and check wording, punctuation and readability. If a phrase cannot be understood, I mark it as [inaudible] instead of inventing words. Results depend on recording quality; perfect accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
Do you include speaker labels and timestamps?
Standard and Premium include speaker labels for up to two speakers. Premium also includes approximate time references at one-minute intervals. Basic or Standard buyers can add time references as an extra, when available. Word-level timestamps and SRT files are not included.
Can you handle noisy audio or strong accents?
This Gig is for clear Standard Mandarin. Heavy background noise, strong accents, overlapping voices or technical recordings may require a custom quote or may be unsuitable. Please send a short sample through Fiverr before ordering.
What counts as a revision?
A revision fixes errors or formatting issues in the transcript of the original recording. New recordings, extra audio minutes, translation or a change of scope are not included. Basic and Standard include 1 revision; Premium includes 2.
How do you handle confidential recordings?
I use your files only to complete the order and do not publish or share them. I will not upload your audio to a third-party AI transcription tool without your permission. Please avoid providing unnecessary sensitive information.
Can I request extra minutes or a custom order?
Yes. Extra 5 min: $10 (+1 day). Time references for Basic/Standard: $5 (+1 day). One additional revision: $5 (+1 day). Extras are subject to audio suitability. For specialist terms or other custom requests, message me on Fiverr first.
