I work on the development of mechanical and consumer products, helping clients transform early concepts into functional and manufacturing focused product solutions. My work covers concept development, mechanical architecture, 3D CAD modeling, part and assembly development, technical drawings, prototype preparation and design for manufacturing. I work with products that require careful consideration of moving components, part interfaces, clearances, tolerances, ergonomics, material selection and manufacturing processes. A common challenge is that an early product concept may look correct visually but contain mechanical conflicts, difficult assembly conditions, weak interfaces or manufacturing problems that only become obvious during prototyping. I address these issues during the development stage by reviewing component relationships, mechanisms, assembly sequences, dimensions and production requirements before finalizing the CAD model. I develop detailed parts and assemblies using professional CAD workflows and prepare manufacturing focused documentation including technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, exploded views and production files where required. I also refine products based on prototype feedback, identifying the source of failures and modifying the relevant geometry, interfaces or assembly conditions rather than simply correcting surface-level issues. My approach combines product development thinking with mechanical engineering principles. The objective is not only to create an accurate 3D model, but to produce a product that functions properly, can be assembled efficiently, can be manufactured realistically and is less likely to require expensive redesign during prototyping or production.
