I will find and fix the real causes of 404 (Page Not Found) errors, broken internal links, and missing redirects so your visitors and Google can reach the correct pages.
If you've changed URLs, removed pages, migrated content, or have old links still being crawled, I'll map each broken URL to the best matching live page and implement clean 301 redirects (not bulk redirects to the homepage).
I work with Shopify and WordPress and follow SEO best practices to protect rankings and improve user experience.

- Create a redirect mapping sheet (Old URL Best matching current URL)

What do you need from me to start?
Your website URL, the platform (Shopify or WordPress), and access (admin/collaborator). If you can share Google Search Console access or a 404 export list, that’s ideal.
Will you redirect everything to the homepage?
No. I follow SEO best practice and redirect each broken URL to the most relevant live page (not bulk homepage redirects).
Can you work if I don’t have a list of 404 URLs?
Yes. I can pull the list from Search Console (if access is provided) and/or run a scan to identify broken internal links and missing pages.
Do you also fix internal broken links (links inside my site)?
Yes. I identify internal links pointing to 404 pages and correct them where possible (or provide a list for your developer if needed).
What’s the difference between a 301 redirect and fixing a link?
Fixing a link updates the source page to point to the correct URL. A 301 redirect automatically sends visitors from an old URL to the new one. Often we do both for best results.
How long does it take for Search Console 404 reports to reduce?
Redirects work immediately, but Search Console updates after Google recrawls. It can take days to a few weeks depending on crawl frequency.
Will redirects hurt my SEO?
No proper 301 redirects usually help SEO by preserving link value and preventing traffic from hitting dead pages.
Do you implement redirects yourself or can my developer do it?
Either works. I can implement if you provide access, or I can deliver a redirect map for your developer to apply.
What access do you need on Shopify vs WordPress?
Shopify: collaborator/admin access (and theme access if links are in theme files). WordPress: admin access (Yoast/Redirection plugin or server rules depending on setup).
What should I send to avoid delays?
Website URL, platform, access, any recent URL/category changes, and your priority pages (if any). If you already have a 404 list/export, send it too.
