I have over ten years of experience in both producing and beta reading creative writing. I have a BA in English literature and creative writing from a university with the best creative writing department in the UK, so I know what makes a piece of work compelling.
I read hundreds of books a year across genres, including romance/erotica. I am also experienced in LGBT+ romance and erotica. This means that I can offer you feedback as both a reader and a fellow writer.
I will give you honest, constructive feedback on your creative writing, deliver an annotated copy of your manuscript covering my impressions of your work, and provide a detailed reader report offering feedback on the emotional impact, pace, plot, consistency, believability, character development, and world development. This critique will help you know exactly what to do to improve your work in future drafts or edits.

How will you beta read my manuscript?
I will provide annotations in the form of comments, and also deliver an in-depth reader report on your manuscript. For this reason, I strongly prefer Word documents or Google docs to other file formats.
Will this be confidential?
Yes, I treat manuscripts with the utmost confidentiality
Will you be editing my manuscript?
I will make no changes to your manuscript itself, but I will provide an annotated copy.
Is there a limit to how long my book can be?
There is no limit, but if your work is longer than 100,000 words, please contact me so I can make you a custom order.
What will happen to your copy of my work after the order?
I will delete my digital copies of your work off my laptop after the completion of an order.
Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?
If you need me to sign one, I will be happy to sign it digitally.
Do you beta read LGBT+ content?
Yes, I would be happy to, and I have plenty of experience doing so!
Can you beta read fanfiction?
Yes! I love beta reading fanfiction. Whilst it's likely I may have seen/read the media the fanfic is based on, I don't need to know the source material to give you constructive feedback, especially if you provide context for the fanfic.
Will you read books with disturbing content?
I am usually okay to read books with disturbing or transgressive content, but I would greatly appreciate a heads-up in advance for anything particularly disturbing so that I know what I am reading.
Do you use AI?
No. I don't use any AI in any of my services (whether that be messaging, writing up the reader reports, annotating the documents, or reading the manuscripts). Your work is read and criticised by a human.
