About me
Hi, I’m Janet. I’m a creative writer, book editor, and beta reader with experience working closely with manuscripts from the first page to the final chapter. I pay close attention to story flow, character development, dialogue, pacing, consistency, and the details that can easily be missed during revision. My editing is practical and respectful of the writer’s style, while my beta reading provides clear, honest feedback based on how the story actually reads. I enjoy working with different genres and bringing a fresh perspective to each project.

Provide professional book editing, beta reading, and creative writing support for authors at different stages of the publishing process. I work closely with writers to strengthen manuscripts while preserving their individual voice, tone, and creative direction. My experience includes developmental editing, line editing, proofreading, manuscript review, story structure, pacing, character development, plot consistency, reader feedback, and creative writing. I also evaluate manuscripts from a reader's perspective, identifying areas that may affect clarity, engagement, emotional impact, and overall reading experience. I work across fiction and nonfiction projects and adapt my approach to the author's goals, genre, audience, and stage of development. My focus is on thoughtful, detailed feedback and polished writing that helps authors move their manuscripts closer to publication.
