FAQ
Will a redesign lose my Google rankings?
No, if it's done properly. URLs stay the same, redirects are set where pages move, and the content and metadata carry across. That's the main reason redesigns go wrong elsewhere, so it's the first thing I plan.
Do you work on my live site?
No. I build on a staging copy, you approve it page by page, and we push it live in one go. Your current site keeps running the whole time.
What do you need from me to start?
Your site URL, WordPress admin and hosting access, and any new text or images. If you have a design reference or a site you like the look of, send that too.
How long does a redesign take?
Page refresh 3 days, Full redesign 14 days, Rebuild and extend 25 days. Bigger rebuilds run as milestones through a custom offer.
How many revisions do I get?
Three per package, against the agreed scope. Because you approve each page on staging as it's built, most projects never use them.
Can you move me off Divi, WPBakery, Wix or Squarespace?
Yes. I rebuild the site in Elementor, keeping your content and structure, then move it across. Send me the URL and I'll tell you how much of it can carry over.
Will you provide Elementor Pro?
Elementor Pro is licensed to the site owner, so you buy it in your own name — around $59/year, and it stays valid and updatable after handover. Most business sites don't need it; I'll tell you honestly before you order whether yours does.
Can you build things Elementor can't do?
Yes. Custom Elementor widgets, PHP plugins, custom post types, membership and login systems, Gravity Forms conditional logic, and connections to your CRM or booking system. Tell me what it should do and I'll scope it.
Who pays for hosting and licences?
You do, in your own accounts, so everything stays in your name and keeps working after handover. I never put my own licences on a client's site.
Can I keep editing it myself afterwards?
Yes. It stays a normal Elementor site you can edit visually, and you get a walkthrough of anything custom I've added.
