Should I contact you before placing an order?
Yes. PCB dimensions, internal components, enclosure complexity and the intended production method determine the correct package, price and delivery time.
What do I need to provide?
Please provide the PCB STEP file if available, exact board dimensions, connector positions, component heights, internal parts, reference images and your preferred production method.
Can you work without a PCB STEP file?
Yes. I can work from accurately dimensioned drawings, datasheets and clear photographs. However, a correct STEP file provides the most reliable basis for checking component and connector clearances.
Can you design for both 3D printing and CNC?
Yes. The geometry, wall thickness and assembly features will be prepared for the agreed process. Please specify whether you intend to use FDM, SLA, SLS or CNC before work begins.
Which closure methods can you create?
I can create screw-fit lids, snap-fit closures, heat-set insert pockets and other suitable assembly features. The best option depends on the material, production method and required access to the PCB.
Can you make the enclosure waterproof or IP rated?
I can add gasket channels, overlapping lips and sealing features. However, an official waterproof or IP rating requires physical prototyping, testing and certification and is not included in this service.
Which files will I receive?
Available formats include STEP, STL, IGES, OBJ, SLDPRT, SLDASM, F3D, PDF, DWG and DXF. The exact formats included depend on your selected package.
