Jan did fantastic work and delivered what I envisioned, despite my lack of musical knowledge and vague descriptions. He is very nice and I hope to work with him again some time!

My Portfolio
FAQ
Do you use AI?
No, I do not use any AI generation or AI driven tools and plugins during my production process.
How should I credit you? :)
Please credit me as “Jan C / Ninefold Drift” wherever composer credits are provided. :)
What rights do I always get (Commercial License)?
The (non-)exclusive commercial license includes: - Use within the discussed commercial project - Use in gameplay footage, promotion & trailers on social media, YouTube & livestreams - A standalone OST upload on YouTube, shared between the project's account and the composer's account
Exclusive vs. Nonexclusive?
Exclusive means the music is exclusively licensed for your project, while I retain ownership of the original work. Non-exclusive allows me to reuse or license the music for other projects as well. I always retain the right to add the music to my portfolio once the project is released.
Do I get standalone Distribution Rights?
The Commercial License of this Gig does not include standalone Distribution Rights. However, you can add Distribution Rights as an extra. This allows you to: - Distribute the soundtrack on streaming platforms (Spotify, Amazon Music, etc.) - Sell the project's OST as a soundtrack package on Steam.
Okay, but what happens if I do not buy Distribution Rights?
If you don't purchase Distribution Rights, I'm still happy to handle the soundtrack's standalone distribution under the project's OST name for you! Otherwise, the music cannot be independently distributed by the client on streaming platforms or as a standalone soundtrack.
In what format can you deliver?
Depending on your preference I will deliver the music in either mp3, wav, flac or ogg format.
Can you provide midi files?
Yes! :)
I don't really know what kind of instrument/mood/genre would be fitting.. can you help?
Of course! I'll always be happy to help make sure we find a great musical direction for your project. The less context you provide, the more I'll help guide you toward an approach that fits the project. :)
