Do I need to contact you before ordering?
Yes. Please describe your application, its current PHP or Laravel version and the work you need. I'll check whether a package fits or prepare a custom offer with a clear scope, price and delivery time.
Is this a subscription or ongoing maintenance service?
No. Each order covers a one-time application review or an agreed set of maintenance tasks. You can book further work whenever needed. But we can also discuss a subscription individually.
What is included in the Application Check?
I'll review the agreed areas of your application and provide a prioritised list of findings and recommended actions. Implementation is not included in this package. It is a focused assessment, not a comprehensive security audit.
How does the included time budget work?
The time budget includes investigation, environment setup, implementation, testing and handover. We agree on a realistic scope before ordering. If unexpected issues arise, I'll explain the options before proceeding with additional paid work.
Can you maintain an application built by another developer or with AI?
Yes. I can work with existing PHP and Laravel applications regardless of who built them. I'll first assess the available code, documentation and setup requirements.
Are PHP and Laravel version upgrades included?
Minor updates can be included when agreed in advance. Major version upgrades or changes requiring substantial compatibility work are assessed and quoted separately.
What access do you need?
Depending on the task, I may need the source code, setup instructions, relevant error logs and access to your hosting or a test environment. I'll tell you what is required. Temporary access can be revoked after delivery.
How do you handle changes to a live application?
Where available, I test changes in a separate environment before deployment. If production changes are needed, we'll agree on the deployment approach, backup arrangements and any maintenance window beforehand.
Can we communicate in German?
Absolutely. I'm based in Berlin, and we can discuss your project in German or English, whichever you prefer.
