I will build a booking system for you
About this Gig
Two people just booked the same room. Again.
I build a booking system inside Google Sheets that catches the clash
before you approve it.
Your team submits a request through a form. It lands in one log sheet,
and the system immediately flags whether it overlaps with anything
already approved. You approve or deny in one cell. The calendar
updates itself.
WHAT YOU GET
- Request form built for you (Google Forms or Tally)
- One master log: every booking, every status, one place
- Automatic clash detection against approved bookings
- Colour-coded calendar that fills itself in
- Statuses: Pending, Approved, Denied, Cancelled
- Recurring bookings held automatically every week
- Monthly usage summary per item
BOOK ANYTHING
Meeting rooms, vehicles, cameras and gear, tools, studios, courts,
desks, machinery, rental stock. If it has an ID and a time slot,
this handles it.
NO MONTHLY FEES
Most booking tools charge per user, forever. This lives in your own
Google account. You own it, your whole team can use it, and it costs
nothing per month.
Tell me what you're booking and how many items you have, and I'll tell
you honestly whether this fits.

FAQ
Does everyone on my team need a Google account?
No. Anyone with the form link can submit a request. Only the people approving bookings need access to the sheet.
Does it block double bookings or just warn me?
It flags every clash automatically against approved bookings, and shows you exactly which existing booking it conflicts with, so you decide. I can make it hard-block on request.
Hourly or daily bookings?
Both. Tell me which you need and I'll build the calendar to match.
Can I keep the data I already have?
Yes. Send me your existing sheet and I'll build around it rather than starting over.
Can I see what's booked right now, at a glance?
Yes. The calendar view is colour-coded per item and fills in automatically as requests get approved.
Will it still work after I add hundreds of bookings?
Yes. The formulas expand automatically as rows come in, so there's nothing to drag down or maintain.
