FAQ
What exactly do you need from me to get started?
Just upload the highest quality version of your image that you have. This can be a JPEG, PNG, a screenshot, or even a clear photo of a printed business card or shirt. If you have specific brand color codes (Hex/CMYK) or specific instructions from your printer, please include those as well!
Why do I need a vector source file (.AI or .EPS)?
A vector source file allows you to resize your logo to any dimension from a tiny business card to a massive billboard without it ever getting blurry or pixelated. It is also one of the standard format required by commercial printers and promotional product vendors.
What happens if my logo includes text or specific fonts?
I strictly adhere to font licensing laws. I don't trace or illegally download paid fonts. If your logo includes text, please provide the font file or font name. If it's a paid font & you do not have a license, I will replace it with a look similar, 100% commercially free alternative w your approval.
Do you use auto-tracing software?
No. Automated tracing creates messy, jagged edges and unorganized paths. I manually redraw your graphic to ensure clean, precise, and commercial worthy results.
Will you design a brand-new logo for me from scratch?
Yes, BUT this gig is specifically for recreating, vectorizing, and print-prepping existing logos, graphics, or rough sketches. However, if you need a matching secondary layout or submark designed based on your primary logo, I do offer that as a Gig Extra. Otherwise, contact me for design services!
My logo has realistic photos, 3D effects, or textures. Can you vectorize it?
Highly complex, photorealistic, or 3D elements cannot always be vectorized cleanly without altering their original look. Please send me a message with your image before placing an order so I can review it and give you an honest assessment and custom quote.
What is "Commercial Print Setup" (Bleeds, Crop Marks, CMYK)?
When printing physical items, printers need specific file setups to ensure colors print accurately and that no white edges appear when the paper is cut (bleeds and crop marks). I set all of this up for you so your file is ready to hand off to your printer.
Do you provide native CorelDraw (.CDR) files?
No, I work exclusively in Adobe Illustrator. However, the vector formats I provide (.EPS and print-ready .PDF) are 100% compatible and open in CorelDraw for commercial printing purposes.
What does a "revision" actually cover?
Revisions cover minor adjustments to the trace, smoothing out a specific curve, or tweaking color shades. Revisions do not cover completely changing the design, altering the layout, or adding brand-new elements that were not in the original file you provided.

Yes! If you are in a rush and need your files for an emergency print run, I offer an expedited 24-hour delivery option. You can select this as a "Gig Extra" during the checkout process.
