Jered Ames grew up in a rural hometown, inspired by ’90s country legends like George Strait and Alan Jackson. He began making music early, teaching himself piano, drums, and guitar. His career took shape in Chicago, where he performed across genres from rock to pop before committing fully to country music. In 2015, he moved to Nashville and quickly earned a steady performance slot, later forming his own band with top-tier musicians, including drummer Robert Blair and Grammy-nominated bassist Jeremy Middleton.
