FAQ
What do you need from me to start the project?
I need your manuscript or story text, the number of illustrations you need, character descriptions, preferred illustration style, page size, and any visual references you have. If you don't have a detailed visual direction, I can help develop one.
Can you create illustrations in a hand-drawn or watercolor style?
Yes! Hand-drawn and watercolor-style children's book illustrations are my specialty. I can create warm, expressive artwork that fits the mood and storytelling of your book.
Can you keep my characters consistent throughout the book?
Absolutely. Character consistency is a key part of my process. I carefully maintain each character's appearance, clothing, proportions, colors, and important features across the illustrations.
Can you illustrate the entire children's book?
Yes. I can create complete illustration packages, including individual story scenes, character artwork, backgrounds, and the front cover.
Do you illustrate animal and pet stories?
Yes! I can create expressive and memorable animal or pet characters for children's stories, picture books, bedtime stories, and personalized books.
Are the illustrations suitable for Amazon KDP?
Yes. I can prepare high-resolution artwork according to your required book dimensions and provide files suitable for children's book publishing on platforms such as Amazon KDP.
What file formats will I receive?
Depending on your project, I can provide high-resolution JPG, PNG, and PDF files. Source files can also be included when requested or offered in your package.
Can you illustrate my book if I only have the story and no character designs?
Yes. You don't need finished character designs. I can develop the characters and visual direction from your manuscript and descriptions.
Can I request revisions?
Yes. Revisions are available according to the package you purchase. I recommend sharing your requirements clearly at the beginning so we can achieve the desired result efficiently.
Can you create a children's book cover too?
Yes. I can create a matching children's book cover that complements the interior illustrations and represents your story professionally.
