FAQ
What software do you use for CFD, FEA, and CAD?
I primarily work in ANSYS (Fluent/CFX and Mechanical) and SolidWorks for CAD, but I’m equally comfortable with SIMULIA Abaqus, Fusion 360, and COMSOL. If you need native files from a specific platform, just let me know.
How do you ensure the accuracy of your simulations?
Every project goes through mesh-independence studies, solver-convergence checks, and validation against analytical solutions or available experimental data. I provide you with the key plots (residuals, y⁺, energy balance, etc.) so you can see the proof yourself.
What information do you need from me to start?
A brief project description plus any of the following: 3D geometry (STEP/IGES/STL), boundary conditions, material properties, desired outputs (e.g., pressure drop, stress hotspots), and your deadline. If you’re unsure, send whatever you have and I’ll guide you through the rest.
