I’m Jim, and I am a professional mastering engineer with a Bachelor's degree in audio production. I run a small mastering studio based in The Netherlands and have worked on countless tracks across all genres. I’ve got an affinity with analog equipment, and I use this when working on your tracks. FAQ
What file format does the mix need to be?
The best file format for me is a 24bit WAV export of the mix in the sample rate that you’re using in your DAW (no sample rate conversion). If that’s not possible, no worries. Try to supply the highest possible version of your mix that you can. If that’s an MP3, we’ll make it work too.
I would like to order a custom amount of masters, is this possible?
Of course! Feel free to send me a message and I will make a custom offer for you.
What is your revision policy?
Want anything changed? I have an unlimited revision policy where it’s pretty much like: “I work until you’re satisfied”. Most of the time the first delivery is on point, though, and it rarely happens that multiple revisions are required. No worries, you’re in good hands!
I found out there is an issue in my mix after the mastering is completed, can you master the new mix?
It happens sometimes that you find an issue in the mix after the mastering is completed so I would highly recommend double-checking your mix before submitting it. If you do find an issue in the mix after mastering is completed, no worries. I'm happy to re-print the master for a fee of $10.
What file formats are the masters?
You can choose between a normal version with minimal and/or a version with 1dB of headroom optimized for streaming services. My masters are 16bit/44khz, but if you need something else, you can let me know. No extra costs for all of this.
Do you offer mixing or STEM mastering?
I don’t offer any mixing or STEM mastering services, I’m not the right engineer for that!
