I will reverse engineer your drone or uav render into a manufacturing ready cad model

About this gig
Have a render, photo, or reference image of a drone or UAV but no usable CAD file?
I reverse engineer visual concepts into precise, manufacturing-ready 3D CAD models, ready for CNC cutting or 3D printing.
What I handle:
- Reverse engineering renders, photos, or reference images into accurate, dimensioned CAD models
- Manufacturing ready output: correct tolerances for CNC cut carbon fiber frames or 3D printed parts
- File formats: STEP, DXF, STL, compatible with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or CATIA workflows
- Component layout: mounting points for motors, servos, batteries, electronics, access panels
- Scale accuracy built to your provided wheelbase, propeller size, or reference dimension
- Working from partial or incomplete designs, not just finished renders
I work across racing drones, cargo/delivery drones, custom UAVs, and specialty builds, turning a visual concept into a file your manufacturer or print shop can actually use. Written communication only is completely fine if that's your preference.
Send me your reference image or render, plus a scale reference, and I'll turn it into a real, buildable CAD model.

FAQ
My image isn't a technical drawing, just a render or photo, is that enough to work from?
Yes, that's exactly what this gig is for. Provide a scale reference (wheelbase, propeller size, or another known dimension) alongside the image so the model is dimensionally accurate, not just visually similar.
How close will the final CAD model match my reference image?
I match the geometry and proportions as closely as possible from the visual reference, then adjust for real world manufacturability (wall thickness, tolerances, mounting points) where the original render didn't account for those.
Can you deliver files compatible with Fusion 360, or only SolidWorks/CATIA?
I design in SolidWorks and CATIA V5, and export STEP files, which open natively in Fusion 360 and most other CAD software.
What if my reference image only shows the exterior, not internal components or mounting points?
Let me know your intended components (motor size, battery, electronics) separately, and I'll design the internal mounting structure to fit them even if it's not visible in your reference.
