TM7 is used to start a standard trademark opposition and state the grounds for opposing the application. TM8 is used by the other party to file a defence and counterstatement.
How long do I have to submit a TM8 counterstatement?
Generally, the trademark applicant has two months from the date the TM7 is served to submit the TM8 Notice of Defence and Counterstatement. This is an important deadline, so send me your UKIPO correspondence before ordering.
Can you help with a TM7A threatened opposition?
Yes. I can assist with reviewing the matter and preparing the information required for a TM7A notice of threatened opposition. A TM7A filed during the initial opposition period can provide an additional month in which to submit the opposition.
Are UKIPO government fees included in the package?
No. Fiverr package prices cover my document-preparation and procedural-support service only. Current UKIPO TM7 fees are generally £125 or £250 depending on the grounds, while TM8 carries no filing fee.
