I will build a project finance model for your energy or infrastructure project
Project finance and investor documentation, energy and infrastructure
About this Gig
A startup forecast and a project finance model are not the same object. If a lender has asked you for a model and you have sent them a three statement projection, you already know this.
I build models to be interrogated. Construction and operating phases separated. Capex drawdown profiled. Interest during construction handled without circular references. Debt sized to a DSCR covenant as well as a gearing limit, with the binding constraint shown. Cash waterfall with covenant testing. An audit tab where every check sits in one place.
Inputs, calculations and outputs are structurally separate. No hardcoded numbers buried inside formulas. An integrity check block that resolves to zero, or the model does not ship.
Sectors: biogas, waste to energy, biodiesel, sustainable aviation fuel, solar, wind, battery storage, water, general infrastructure.
I have also audited other people's project models and found faults in capex drawdown logic that would have misled a lender. If you have an existing model, order the audit first and we will both know what we are dealing with.

FAQ
What is the difference between this and a normal financial model?
A project finance model sizes debt against covenants, separates construction from operations, handles interest during construction and produces the ratios a lender tests. If your funder is a bank, a DFI or an infrastructure fund, you need this one.
Can you review a model I already have?
Yes, and it is often the better first order. The audit extra buys a written findings report. I have found material errors in live project models, including capex drawdown logic that understated the funding requirement.
Which package do I need?
If you are testing whether a project works, Basic. If you are in live lender discussion, Standard. If you are heading to financial close, or your model has already been rejected, Premium.
Do you provide the model unlocked?
Yes. You own it, it is fully formula driven, and Premium includes documentation so your team can run it without me. I cannot guarantee any specific adviser's opinion, and no honest modeller would.
