I will test your site for accessibility issues

Level 2
About this gig
I offer comprehensive accessibility testing that meets compliance by combining both manual and automated methods that identify real accessibility issues that matter most to users.
Using tools like axe-core, WAVE, and ANDI, I'll run automated tests that flag common issues (e.g. color contrast, heading structure, alt text). Then, I go deeper manually testing your website using screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard navigation, and other assistive tech.
This approach ensures coverage of the 6070% of WCAG criteria that cannot be caught by automation alone.
Please contact me before placing an order. Testing scope is based on your site's complexity and page volume.
You'll receive:
- A breakdown of automated findings
- Manual test results with real-user relevance
- Remediation guidance aligned to WCAG, ADA, EAA, and Section 508
If you want to go beyond checklists and address real barriers, I've got you covered.

FAQ
What standards do you test against?
I test against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 or 2.2 (Level A and AA), ADA Title III (U.S.), Section 508 (federal compliance), AODA (Canada), and the European Accessibility Act (EAA). I tailor the audit scope to your legal, regional, and organizational compliance needs.
What tools and methods do you use?
I combine automated tools (axe-core, WAVE, Lighthouse, ANDI) with manual testing using screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack). I test keyboard navigation, focus order, color contrast, and proper semantic HTML and ARIA implementation to catch real world usage issues automation may miss.
Is UX or usability testing included?
This gig covers conformance testing for accessibility standards only. If you're looking for usability testing with people who use assistive tech in real life, I offer that as a separate service. Feel free to contact me for a custom offer.
Do you fix accessibility issues or just report them?
This gig provides a detailed audit and remediation guidance. If you need hands-on fixes, I offer remediation as a separate service, including code-level updates for HTML, CSS, ARIA, and JavaScript components across various frameworks.
Can you help prepare a VPAT or accessibility statement?
Yes. I offer VPATs (Accessibility Conformance Reports) for Section 508 and WCAG, as well as custom accessibility statements tailored to your digital product, organization, and compliance goals. These are available in separate gigs or by request.
Do you test web apps or mobile apps?
Yes. I audit static websites, dynamic web applications, and native iOS/Android mobile apps. Tests are tailored to each platform’s behavior and accessibility challenges. I also offer platform-specific gigs if you need more targeted support.
What formats do you deliver the report in?
Reports are always delivered in Excel for easy implementation into your workflow and issue tracking tools. Reports include prioritized issues, remediation notes, test methods, user impact, and WCAG mapping. Custom formats are also available on request.
What do all these standards stand for?
WCAG = Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ADA = Americans with Disabilities Act 508 = Section 508 (US federal) EAA = European Accessibility Act EN 301 549 = EU accessibility procurement requirements AODA = Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
What do all of these accessibility acronyms mean?
A11y = Accessibility (11 letters between a and y) ARIA = Accessible Rich Internet Applications VPAT = Voluntary Product Accessibility Template ACR = Accessibility Conformance Report ICT = Information and Communications Technology POUR = Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust (WCAG principles)
How are you different from other sellers or accessibility overlays and widgets?
Consider me your US-based accessibility partner. I support the full lifecycle—from audit to implementation—without tools that do not provide true WCAG or ADA compliance. I deliver real testing and clear, standards-based guidance trusted by agencies, SaaS, B2B, and top accessibility vendors.
