No, this is structural editing, not line editing or copyediting. I focus on plot, character, pacing, and worldbuilding. Not grammar or sentence-level polish. That's a separate stage, best done after structural revisions are set.
What genres do you specialize in?
Epic Fantasy and Science Fiction, adult and YA. I bring a published author's craft perspective to magic systems, political worldbuilding, and multi-POV narratives. These elements, in my opinion, make or break stories in these genres.
What if my manuscript is a first draft, not fully revised?
That's fine! I read differently for first drafts. Prose issues get noted lightly, and feedback focuses on structure, character, and logic: what your first revision pass actually needs to accomplish. I do encourage you to tell me though so I know.
Is my manuscript kept confidential?
Yes. Every manuscript is treated as strictly confidential and is never shared, discussed, or used for any purpose beyond your report.
How many revisions are included?
Each package includes 1 revision round on the written report. Clarifying or expanding a point. The Comprehensive tier also includes a separate follow-up Q&A session for deeper discussion.
Do you offer developmental editing for other genres?
I specialize in Epic Fantasy and Science Fiction, since that's where my own author experience and genre expertise run deepest. I am interested however to try on different genres, but that will have to be discussed first.
