As an EA accredited Mechatronics Engineer, I am a qualified professional focusing on integrating mechatronic systems into a single, cohesive product.
Software engineering is the core of my practice. I am proficient across a wide range of languages including Python, C, and Java; and I specialise in rebuilding AI-coded systems that have stalled developmentally.
Previously I have developed an autonomous sample collection robot, a clone of the chess.com frontend, and a machine learning drone simulator.

As an applications engineer at VAE, I was responsible for delivering software automations and workflow enhancements for myself and my team. These java-based automations reduced manual data entry and drastically improved the quality of our product, saving hundreds of hours for commissioning and reworks. My key responsibilities also extended towards software integration. As a Master Systems Integrator, VAE were responsible for integrating devices across a wide range of network communications protocols including SNMP, BACnet, Modbus TCP, Niagara, MQTT, and more. I was tasked with integrating third party software packages across these networks, translating their data into a consumable packet, and routing it down to our primary system. This role has given me a great deal of experience developing many different integrations simultaneously, managing priority tasks, and end-to-end quality assurance testing, improving client-facing systems, and interacting with clients, stakeholder, and subcontractors to drive home solutions.
