About this gig

Claude can only work with what you paste into it. An MCP server changes that: it lets Claude read from and act on your actual systems.

WHAT I BUILD

A server that exposes your data as tools Claude can call. Your Postgres, your internal REST API, your file store, your ticket system. You decide what it may read, and whether it may write anything at all.

Safety is structural, not a promise. My own read-only server opens its database with a read-only handle, so writes are refused by the database itself instead of by a keyword filter someone can talk around.

WHY ME

I built a 110+ tool AI agent from scratch, including its own MCP client over stdio, SSE and streamable-HTTP, plus a read-only MCP server on top of its database. 15,000 lines, 72 passing tests.

So I know the failure modes: transports that silently drop servers, tool schemas that burn your token budget, and SDKs that swallow the error so the model repeats the same broken call.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Tell me the source and what Claude should do with it

2. I confirm scope before you order

3. I build, test and hand over with documentation

Message me first and I will say honestly if this fits your case.

I build AI agents that connect to real systems, not just chat windows. Over the past year I built a personal AI assistant from scratch: 110+ tools, multi-provider LLM fallback, semantic tool selection, vector memory, and a custom MCP client supporting stdio, SSE and streamable-HTTP. 15,000 lines, 72 passing tests, running every day. So I have already hit the failure modes most setups run into: token blowout from oversized tool schemas, transports that silently drop servers, permission handling on Windows. I work in English and Dutch, and I will tell you honestly if I am not the right fit.
