I'm a native Japanese speaker based in Japan. I proofread existing Japanese UI text, including buttons, menus, forms, notifications, error messages, and website labels.
I check grammar, typos, clarity, tone, and terminology consistency.
DELIVERY:
An Excel spreadsheet with original text, suggested Japanese corrections, and short English explanations.
PACKAGES:
Basic: up to 40 UI strings / 800 Japanese characters
Standard: up to 100 strings / 2,500 characters

IMPORTANT:
Although Fiverr labels the quantity as "words," my limits are based on Japanese characters (including punctuation, excluding spaces). Both the character limit and UI string limit apply, whichever is reached first.

How do you count Japanese characters?
I count Japanese characters, including punctuation but excluding spaces. Both the character limit and UI string limit apply, whichever is reached first. Fiverr's "words" field represents the Japanese character limit for this service.
Can you review AI-translated Japanese text?
Yes. I review existing AI-translated Japanese for grammar, natural wording, clarity, and consistency. Translation from scratch and extensive rewriting are not included.
What files should I provide?
Please provide your existing Japanese UI text in Excel, CSV, or TXT format. English source text and UI screenshots are helpful. Please remove confidential data and personal information before sending files.
What will I receive after the review?
