I will create 3d cad models and drawings for 3d printing, prototyping and cnc

About this gig
Need a part you can 3D print, prototype or send to a CNC shop? I turn your sketch, PDF or photo with dimensions into a clean 3D CAD model and a manufacturing drawing. Ideal for inventors, startups, machine shops and makers.
What I model:
- Mechanical parts, brackets, housings, fixtures and jigs
- - Parts for 3D printing (STL ready)
- - Small assemblies with exploded view and bill of materials
- - 2D manufacturing drawings: views, sections, dimensions and title block
What you get:
- STEP and IGES, the industry-standard formats for SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Onshape and any CNC or laser shop
- - STL for printing, plus PDF and DXF drawings, depending on the package
- - Dimensions checked against your reference before delivery
- - A short list of any dimension I had to assume, so nothing is guessed silently
I'm an Industrial & Systems Engineering student with hands-on experience in the production area of a packaging plant, so I design parts thinking about how they will be made.
Gallery samples are my own project with simulated data, not client work.
Send me your sketch or PDF before ordering and I'll confirm the package and delivery time.

FAQ
Which software do you use?
FreeCAD, a professional open-source parametric CAD, fully licensed for commercial work. You get neutral STEP and IGES files that open in any major CAD, and the native FreeCAD file (.FCStd) if you want it. The design and files are yours.
Will it open in SolidWorks / Fusion 360?
Yes. STEP imports as a solid body. IGES may import as surfaces that your CAD can knit into a solid. Neither includes a SolidWorks feature tree.
Can you edit my SolidWorks (.SLDPRT) file?
Only from a STEP or IGES export, and the result comes back as STEP. If you need native SolidWorks files with feature history, this gig is not the right fit.
Can you work from a photo?
Yes, if it shows at least one known dimension. If something can't be measured, I'll ask before modeling it.
Do you draw house floor plans or do stress simulation (FEA)?
No. I focus on mechanical parts, fixtures and plant layouts.
Can you design a part for 3D printing?
Yes. I add printing-friendly details (wall thickness, fillets, clearances for fits) and send an STL ready to slice, plus the STEP file if you want to edit it later.
Will you keep my design private?
Yes. Your files are used only for your order and are never shown in my portfolio without your written permission.
Can you modify an existing STEP file?
Yes. I import your STEP, then modify or redraw the features you need, and send it back as STEP (plus STL or a drawing if you need them).
What do you need to start?
A sketch, PDF or photo with at least one known dimension, the units (mm or inches), the material if you know it, and the file formats you need.
Can you model a replacement for a broken part?
Yes. Send clear photos of the part next to a ruler or caliper, plus the key measurements. I rebuild it as a 3D model, fix the weak spot if you want, and send an STL to print or a STEP for a machine shop.
