FAQ
Which Odoo version do you install?
I install Odoo 17 or 18, both supporting native French compliance including Factur-X and the anti-fraud POS module. If you are on an older version I can migrate you. Odoo 17 minimum is required for the 2026 e-invoicing reform.
What is the Plan Comptable Général and do I need it?
PCG is the French standard chart of accounts required for all French businesses. I preconfigure it in Odoo with correct account numbers, TVA mappings, and fiscal positions aligned with French accounting and tax authority requirements.
What is NF525 and does my Odoo POS need it?
NF525 is French anti-fraud law for POS systems. If your business uses Odoo POS in France, the certification module must be activated and the compliance certificate downloaded from Odoo SA. I handle this in every Standard and Premium setup.
Is Odoo compliant with the French e-invoicing reform?
Yes. Since April 22, 2026, Odoo is an official Plateforme Agréée registered with the DGFiP. French businesses can now send, receive, and transmit Factur-X invoices and e-reporting data directly from Odoo no third-party platform needed.
Can you connect Odoo to my accountant's software?
Yes. I connect Odoo to Pennylane or Sage via n8n automation. Every transaction syncs automatically no manual exports, no reconciliation gaps, no double entry between your ERP and your accountant.
